Knitted in DK weight yarn, this is a quick and fun project that makes a lovely gift. The mushroom rattle looks beautiful in a whole range of colours - change the look by mixing up colour combinations and varying the density of the embroidered spots.
The mushroom rattle is the perfect shape for baby - they can hold the stem in their fist and chew, squash and pull the mushroom as much as they like. Knitted all in one piece it's very sturdy!

The rattle is knitted flat. Techniques used: Knit, purl, basic shaping (increasing & decreasing).
