Mini Jumper | PDF Knitting Pattern
Please note: This pattern comes in digital form. After the purchase is complete you'll be automatically emailed with a link to download the PDF file/s.
This is a simple design that's a lot of fun to create. The jumper is knitted in-the-round from the bottom up and has an easy Fair Isle design across the body and sleeves. You can also knit the jumper in one colour (without any Fair Isle) for gorgeous results. These make lovely little decorations for your knitting area or Christmas tree.
If you haven't knitted colour work before, this is an excellent pattern to cut your teeth on. If you're nervous about garment knitting, why not knit this mini? It's constructed in a similar way to many jumpers knitted from the bottom-up.
The Mini Jumper is a very quick knit. Like all of my patterns, the instructions are written clearly in an easy-to-follow format. The instructions are written with two charts for the colour work - one for the sleeve and one for the jumper.
This pattern is knitting in-the-round.
You’ll need to be comfortable knitting in-the-round to knit this jumper. I use the Magic Loop method throughout for ease of working on tiny circumferences, such as the sleeve. The knitting techniques involved are knit and purl and basic decreasing. Instructions are included for working from the colour work chart.
