Three little mice in their Christmas Sweaters are gathered for a festive feast of fruit mince pies.
Their sweaters are scandi-inspired and are deceptively easy, using simple stranded knitting techniques. Knit the complete trio for a gorgeous touch to your festive decor this season.

This 13-page pattern includes detailed finishing off instructions & tips for knitters new to stranded colourwork, ensuring you get the most joy from knitting your Nordic Christmas Mice. These little creatures are fun and quick to knit up, perfect for last-minute gift knitting.

Purchase a supply kit here to make yours just like the original trio.

The mice are worked flat on two needles. Instructions are written with a chart for the colour work - instructions & tips are given for first-time colourwork knitters. If you're new to stranded knitting, this pattern is suitable for beginners. Other techniques include basic shaping.

Needles
3.25mm straight knitting needles
3.25mm pair DPNs (to knit i-cord tail)

Yarn
Colours given are those used in the sample. Feel free to get creative with your own colour choices to match in with your Christmas decor.

Mouse Body: KPC Novomerino DK 50g ball
1 x ball in Thunder (yarn A)

Sweater: WOOLganic Merino DK 50g ball
1 x ball in Grapefruit Moon (yarn B)
1 x ball in Chilli Pepper (yarn C)

Nose & Eyes: WOOLganic Merino 4ply 50g ball
1 x ball in Black Swan or oddment of 4ply yarn, approx. 60cm per mouse

Note: Nose & eyes are worked in 4ply yarn. The drop in yarn weight gives a delicate pointed nose and makes embroidering the eyes easier.

The yarn quantities given are enough to knit all 3 mice, with generous leftover.
