Soft Silk | 4ply/5ply Fingering/Sport
This yarn is super soft and squishy to the touch. Perfect for next-to-skin projects on even the most sensitive skin!
Spun from pure bourette silk, this raw silk has a wonderful rustic 'slubby' texture that produces a softly textured fabric.
Silk is naturally cool in summer and warm in winter, making this yarn ideal for everything from summer tops to winter accessories and garments. Soft Silk is a very versatile yarn, fitting well with both 4ply & 5ply designs.
Gentle on the environment, dyed with AZO-free and Oeko-Tex certified dyes. Please note: Silk can absorb a lot of dye, therefore there may be excess dye in some of the colours. Rinsing the yarn in cold water before use is recommended when mixing colours;; finish with a rinse of water with a little vinegar added to it.
Suitable for both knitting and crochet.
This yarn comes in a skein, it will need to be wound into a ball before knitting. You can do that yourself or have it done before shipping with the ball winding service here.
