Handspun Handknit Chooks
A very special, limited edition flock of hens has arrived at Say! Little Hen.
Hand knitted by Lyn Green using her own handspun yarn, these Knitted Chooks are very special! Each one is individual and has been lovingly crafted by hand from fibre to finished chook. (Chook is Australian slang for chicken).
Each chook measures approx. 33cm from beak to tail and 33cm high. They are weighted with sand so they sit beautifully, and are also lovely to cuddle (kids love them!).

With sustainability in mind, all of the cotton yarns in our shop are either certified organic with GOTS or certified with Better Cotton Initiative (BCI), and we also stock locally grown and/or produced wool and alpaca yarns. The softness of yarns is paramount to us, and you'll find each yarn we stock is very soft.
