Whether you’re gathered with your friends or enjoying tea for one, your tea will stay nice and hot in this stylish Tea Cosy. Marmalade is easy to knit for any teapot, with a pretty stitch pattern and snug fit. Adorn with a pompom or keep it simple - the choice is yours!

Easy

This tea cosy is worked flat in two pieces. Marmalade uses a decorative knitting stitch called Star Stitch. This stitch is very simple to create and to make it even simpler I’ve made a quick video tutorial to show you how to knit the Star Stitch (linked in the pattern).

Teapot Sizing
This pattern is designed to fit any sized teapot. It includes 2 cosy sizes - one to suit a standard 1L teapot and a small 500ml teapot - plus comprehensive instructions on customising the tea cosy to suit different sizes and shaped pots as teapots can really vary!

Needles
1 x set 4.50mm pair needles or size needed to obtain gauge

Yarn
Sample uses 2 x 50g balls KPC Glencoul DK - feel free to substitute with other DK/8ply yarn that meets tension. (Great for using leftovers up!)
