Fixing Mistakes Knitting Workshop | 25th October
Have you ever had to undo hours of knitting and start over due to a tiny mistake? Learn how to fix mistakes in this knitting class and save your hours of hard work.
When: Friday, 25th of October 10:30am - 1pm
Skill level: Suitable for confident beginners (comfortable knitting and purling) and more experienced knitters alike.
What you'll learn:
- 3 essential techniques for fixing mistakes: including unknitting, picking up stitches to rip back and laddering down/up to fix on the spot/correct dropped stitches
- Mistake prevention, including how to add a lifeline and when
- Identifying mistakes
Note: You'll need to bring your own work for this class. You're required to have a 2 different swatches on your needles to practise fixing mistakes on during the class. After booking you'll receive an email for you to download the file with the information on it - please download and read this as it will tell you what kind of sampler to cast on. Having a sampler to practice on is a requirement of this class.
