Spend a weekend immersed in knitting at our Noosa studio as you craft a gorgeous Frog.

During the class, you'll knit Claire Garland's popular FROG. You'll be fully supported through the techniques of knitting Frog and assembling him, learning how to place armature wires, achieve a neat finish on tiny knit and more.

Included:
  • 6.5 hour workshop, broken into 3 sessions over the weekend
  • Frog Knitting Kit, featuring beautiful hand-dyed yarns selected to give you the best finish to Frog. This kit includes all materials needed to complete the frog & knit his clothes!
  • Complimentary morning/afternoon tea and light snacks on both days

You will need to bring:
  • 2.75mm and 3.25mm knitting needles
  • Wool/darning needle
    5 removable stitch markers

 

When: This workshop runs over the first weekend of February.
Day 1: Saturday, 1st of February 10am ~ 4pm (a 2 hour break for lunch is provided, BYO lunch or stroll down to the brewery!)
Day 2: Sunday, 2nd of February 10am ~ 12:30pm

Bookings are essential - our classes are kept small to allow ample learning time for each student. Please contact us if you have any questions about the class at any time!

For the knitter looking to further their knowledge.
You must be able to knit and purl confidently to attend this class.
A basic understanding of a knitting pattern is also strongly encouraged for all participants.

Techniques you'll be working in this class include shaping (increases & decreases) and short rows.

Please note this is an in-person event only. You must be able to be present on the days to attend.

Cancellation Policy
All bookings include a 15% non-refundable amount (this covers non-refundable bank fees & other associated admin costs)

For cancellations made within 14 days of the workshop, 50% of the ticket price is non-refundable.

For cancellations made within 7 days of the workshop/class, 100% of the ticket is non-refundable unless your place can be filled.

We understand that life gets in the way sometimes and you may need to cancel. Please let us know as soon as possible if you can no longer attend, as we often have people on waitlists who would love to come.

With sustainability in mind, all of the cotton yarns in our shop are either certified organic with GOTS or certified with Better Cotton Initiative (BCI), and we also stock locally grown and/or produced wool and alpaca yarns. The softness of yarns is paramount to us, and you'll find each yarn we stock is very soft.
