Sock Knitting Club | Online Course - February Round

You need to already be comfortable with basic knitting (knitting, purling, simple shaping) and reading a pattern.
You'll be taught how to knit in-the-round using the Magic Loop method at the start of the course.

★What will I learn?
You'll learn to knit socks from the cuff-down (top-down) using the Magic Loop Method. You'll be guided through a broad range of techniques in video format including Magic Loop knitting, knitting a heel flap, working short rows and wraps & turns, picking up stitches and working Kitchener Stitch.

★What supplies do I need?
Yarn: You need 100g of 4ply/fingering weight yarn, preferably a sock blend, to knit a pair of socks. (More information on choosing yarn for socks is provided in the Sock Knitting Guide that comes with the Club).

Needles: You’ll need a pair of circular needles with a long cable - 80 or 100cm - in size 2.25mm or 2.50mm (choose the larger size if you have a tighter gauge). KnitPro Zing or Nova are recommended, which you can purchase separately.

★Club Access
Students will be given access to the Club on the 9th of February - Sock Start Day! You can access the Club on your browser anywhere with an internet connection.

The final day of the Club is the 6th of April, a full 8 weeks from the start date.

If you download the PDF content (Beginner’s Sock Pattern & Sock Knitting Guide) before the final day, you’ll have access to them for as long as you keep a copy of the file. The video content is exclusive to the club available for the 8-week duration of the Club.
