The club runs online for 8 weeks so that you can enjoy learning at a relaxed pace.

Overwhelmed on where to start with knitting socks? The Sock Knitting Club breaks down the process of sock knitting into easy bite-sized steps so that you can enjoy knitting socks and build your confidence.

During the Club, you'll learn to knit socks from the cuff-down using the Magic Loop Method. You'll be guided through a broad range of techniques in video format including Magic Loop knitting, knitting a heel flap, working short rows and wraps & turns, picking up stitches and working Kitchener Stitch.
The sock you'll be knitting will have a heel flap & gusset style heel, and you'll learn to Kitchener stitch the toe for a beautiful finish.

As part of the club, you'll receive our Beginner's Sock Pattern and Guide to Knitting Socks, and be fully supported with video tutorials on the trickier techniques. You’ll also have access to a members-only Facebook group where you can chat with other students (past and present), share photos of your progress and get help.

Our Club is designed to be as enjoyable as an in-person learning experience, but with the convenience of learning online when and where it suits you over the course of 8 weeks.

Enrolments close on the 30th of June. The Club begins on the 1st of July.
