Learn to Knit Socks in-the-round from the cuff down. In this 3-part course, you’ll knit a sock, learning every technique you need and leaving at the end as a confident sock knitter. Turn a heel, Kitchener Stitch a toe and learn how to get the right fit.

Sock knitting is heaps of fun but there are quite a few techniques involved, so this class runs over three Sunday afternoons (6 hours total). All tools and materials are provided in the class, you only need to bring yourself!
When:
Sunday, 11th June, 1pm - 3pm | Part 1: We'll talk about choosing a size, cast on and start knitting - you'll learn how to use the Magic Loop method.
Sunday, 18th June, 1pm - 3pm | Part 2: It's time to turn the heel. You'll learn how to knit a short-row heel.
Sunday, 25th June, 1pm - 3pm | Part 3: We're finishing our socks off with a nicely shaped toe and Kitchener Stitch closure.
You'll knit your socks from beautiful quality yarn and get to choose your colours at the first class. Please Note: A small amount of homework is required between each class so that you're ready to knit the next section.
Where: Say! Little Hen - 11a Venture Drive, Noosaville (more details here)
Bookings are essential - our classes are kept small to allow ample learning time for each student. Please contact me via email if you have any questions about the class at any time!

You must be able to confidently cast on, knit, purl, work basic shaping and follow a simple knitting pattern. Previous experience knitting in-the-round is beneficial, but you will be how shown in part one.

Included in your class ticket is everything you need - you only need to bring yourself!

The ticket cost includes all 3 classes (6 hours) + your Sock Knitting Kit - please choose which kind of sock kit you'd like at the time of booking.

How to book: Simply add this item to cart and proceed to checkout to purchase. Bookings cannot be confirmed until payment has been made. A minimum of 4 is required for the class to proceed; if we don't receive enough bookings the class will be cancelled/rescheduled.
Please note this is an in-person event only. You must be able to be present on the days to attend.
