Sock Knitting Classes | 25th May & 1st June (2-part class)
Learn to Knit Socks in-the-round from the cuff down. In this 2-part course, you’ll knit a mini sock, learning every technique you need and leaving at the end as a confident sock knitter. Turn a heel, Kitchener Stitch a toe and learn how to get the right fit.
Sock knitting is heaps of fun but there are quite a few techniques involved, so this class runs over two Saturday afternoons. All tools and materials are provided in the class, you only need to bring yourself! Tea and coffee are complimentary, feel free to bring along afternoon tea for yourself.
Skill Level: You must be able to cast on, knit, purl, work basic shaping and follow a simple knitting pattern. Previous experience knitting in-the-round is beneficial, but you will be shown how on the day.
When: Saturday 25th May & 1st June, 12:30pm - 3:30pm (2 classes)
Where: 'The Stables', Bellingen (next to the sustainability centre, behind the ambulance).
Bookings are essential - our classes are kept small to allow ample learning time for each student. Please contact me here via email if you have any questions about the class at any time!
