Jaipur Silk Fino | 2ply/Lace

Spun from pure mulberry silk, Jaipur Silk Fino is a deliciously luxurious yarn. Smooth, ultra soft with a beautiful lustre and drape.

This 2ply/lace weight yarn can be used on its own, or double-stranded to create a thicker fabric. It's also excellent for combining with other yarns - think organic cotton for gorgeous summer tops or mohair/silk warmer items.

Silk is naturally cool in summer and warm in winter, making this yarn ideal for everything from summer tops to winter accessories and garments. 

Suitable for both knitting and crocheting.

Gentle on the environment, dyed with AZO-free and Oeko-Tex certified dyes. Please note: Silk can absorb a lot of dye, therefore there may be excess dye in some of the colours. Rinsing the yarn in cold water before use is recommended when mixing colours. 

Note: The glossy surface and the lack of elasticity of mulberry silk results in a tendency to grow after washing. So please take this into consideration when swatching. It may lengthen by about 10%.
