Colour Work Knitting | Evening Class - 22nd May
Discover the wonderful world of colour work knitting! In this class, you'll be taught stranded colour work (the same technique used in traditional Fair Isle knitting). Learn how to knit with more than one colour, read a chart and carry yarn across the back of the work. You'll also learn about what yarns to use to get the best results out of your colour work knitting.
During the class, we'll knit a sampler square featuring patterns in the traditional Fair-Isle style. Your class materials are provided in the ticket price (pattern, instructions and organic merino wool). You need to bring along a pair of 4mm needles. Tea and coffee are complimentary, you're welcome to bring along a snack for yourself.
Skill Level: For the knitter looking to further their knowledge. You must be able to confidently knit and purl to attend this class.
