Bookish Knitter's Society Vol. 3 | Petite Parcel
The Bookish Knitter's Society is back! In this unique knitting club, we've combined all of the best bits of a knit-along, book club and a yarn club to bring you the cosiest knit-along ever.
If you love good books, beautiful yarns and delicious tea then don't miss Volume 3 of the Bookish Knitter's Society.
There is a place for everyone in this Society - choose which option suits you best! You can browse all options here.
Volume 3 is a cosy adventure. We'll be knitting the Linarii Shawl, a new pattern exclusive to the Society whilst we read one of Kate Morton's intriguing novels, The Clockmaker's Daughter or The Forgotten Garden (you choose!).
About the Project
Linarii is an engaging but enjoyable knit. Wear her like a scarf, coil and knot her up like a cowl or drape her elegantly across your shoulders. Linarii is a versatile piece that you’ll reach for again and again. The body of the shawl is worked in a snowflake pattern - Linarii’s name inspiration is drawn from the Australian ‘Melaleuca Snowflake’, a shrub that blooms with nectar-filled snow-flake-like flowers.
Linarii is worked from end to end, with each tip scattered randomly with eyelets and squishy ridges, which sweep in opposite directions.
About the Book
This time we're enjoying the work of Australian author Kate Morton. I've chosen two of her intriguing novels - The Clockmaker's Daughter and The Forgotten Garden - you can pick between them or read both!
A copy of the book isn't included - this allows you to grab a copy from your library or favourite bookstore. Shopping online from Australia or New Zealand? I recommend Booktopia.
