Say! Little Hen

Bookish Knitter's Society Vol. 1 | Petite Parcel

The Bookish Knitter's Society is a unique knitting club. We've combined all of the best bits of a knit-along, book club and a yarn club to bring you the cosiest knit-along ever.

If you love good books, beautiful yarns and delicious tea then don't miss Volume 1 of the Bookish Knitter's Society.

We'll be knitting the Winter Star Cowl and unravelling the mystery of Rhys Bowen's Her Royal Spyness

If you enjoy series such as Downton Abbey and Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries, you'll love this book!  (Note: you’ll need to provide your own copy).

There is a place for everyone in this Society - choose which option suits you best! You can browse all options here.

This parcel includes all of the Society goodies without the yarn, the perfect option if you have some yarn in your stash you'd like to use.

1 x Printed Winter Star Cowl pattern
Set 4 Hand Painted Notecards by The Darling Fig (designed & made in Australia)
4-cup Loose Leaf Tea Sampler from The Berry Tea Shop
Bonus Society Cake Recipe (printed)

All Petite Parcels come packaged in a Kraft gift box complete with our Collectible The Bookish Knitter's Society Vol. 1 postcard.

If you have a preference between Vanilla Bean or Purely Peppermint tea in your box leave a note at checkout and we'll do our best to accommodate you.

For Volume 1 we'll be reading Rhys Bowen's Her Royal Spyness. We haven't included a copy for flexibility - you might already have a copy, or you can grab one from your library, local book store or online. It's up to you!

Volume 1 officially kicks off on the 21st of May. This is the day we'll all cast on and start reading the first chapter. Like all of our knit-alongs, we're keeping it relaxed with a 5 week timeline.
We'll finish by the 25th of June, after which the knit-along prize will be drawn.

Make sure you join the Facebook group so you can chat with other Society members - here we'll be discussing what chapter we're up to, sharing live videos and posting about our knitting progress. It's going to be the best fun!

You'll need a pair of 4.50mm needles to knit the cowl. It's worked flat, so use whatever needles you love best.
