Learn how to crochet with our fun 2-part beginner's crochet class! During this course, you'll discover how fun crochet is and learn all of the basics you need.
When: Thursdays, 16th & 23rd of May | 10:30am - 12:30pm
Over 2 classes you'll learn all of the essential crochet basics whilst you make a Granny Square. Our classes are relaxed and fun, you will have heaps of time to ask questions and have lots of help. At the end of the course, you'll have the confidence to choose and crochet your next beginner-friendly project.
No prior experience is necessary.
What you'll learn:
All of the basics! How to:
- Hold the hook and yarn
- Work chain, treble and double crochet stitches
- The difference between US and UK crochet terminology
- Read a pattern
- Selected the best hook for you
- Change colours
- Join granny squares together
You'll also learn about yarn ply and what size hooks to choose for your yarn.
Everything you need to get started on your crochet journey is included. Soft wool yarn, crochet hook & pattern plus 2 x 2 hour classes (4 hours total).
